Thank you for creating the Millie and Elsie dolls. I grew up on Barbies, and understand their strong pull on my 8 year old daughter. Yet I have not let her have them because they are just too sexualized. STILL, it's hard for me to say no! Barbies are so pretty and everywhere and I had zillions of them. I also acted like Barbie when I became a teenager and those are bitter memories.....I have prayed about this and God has been so merciful. We walked into the local Christian bookstore and there was Millie. My daughter just gasped and her eyes sparkled as much as Millie's! All thoughts of Barbie took an immediate back seat. I am so excited to know God has answered my prayer. Here is a pretty doll with gorgeous clothes, interesting and uplifting books . . . and she is WANTED! We already have the Laylie Colbert Doll. We prefer these dolls much more than the American Girl doll line not only because of the faith and God-based values that they teach but that the company itself has a faith basis.
